The last two weeks have been a roller coaster of emotions. I lost a family member recently, this past Friday my CD was released, and Saturday a very good friend passed away. I am till sorting it all out. Next Monday I have surgery on my hand and will take a much need two weeks off.

I am a guitar player and currently the house musician at Doc’s Bar, on Tybee Island GA. www.docsbartybee.com. I have been a musician for about 40+ years. I started as a drummer, tore up my knee and started playing bass guitar, and then moved on to guitar. I had a real job once for five years (I was still playing 3 to 4 nights a week) but I couldn’t cut it. Show business is my life, life is good.

Roy, You always honored our friend by playing "Suzie-Q" for her. I hope you'll be able to play the song again in the future. We won't ever forget her!

Life is hard...I should know. And you are supposed to move on, but that doesn't discount how you feel at the moment---a roller coaster of emotions and you have to feel each one to get to the end of the ride. Thinking of you and wishing you well...hope the surgery cures a trigger finger which is really your thumb!
